It is our understanding that Friends of Springville Dog Park have changed their name to Camarillo Dog Parks Foundation.

Volunteers do not necessarily have the time; they just have the heart. ~Elizabeth Andrew

Friends of Camarillo Dog Parks has recently undergone a number of changes within the structure of our group. We would like to thank Jeff Douglas for his hard work as our Chairman and are grateful for the hours he devoted to our Springville Dog Park. However, at this point, we need to clarify ANY confusion regarding this recent change in leadership of our group. Jeff is no longer a part of the FRIENDS OF CAMARILLO DOG PARKS Board. He has formed a new and separate group (sounding very similar to ours), Friends of Springville Dog Park. They are not affiliated with FCDP or Pleasant Valley Recreation and Park District (PVRPD). Friends of Camarillo Dog Parks is continuing with a variety of fundraisers and is always seeking donations to improve our parks. Please note that donations to FCDP are tax deductible and you will be given a receipt containing this information. We apologize for any confusion with these changes and are excited about moving forward again with new and improved dog parks in Camarillo. Please look for the new, upcoming amenities and improvements at Springville Dog Park and Mission Oaks Park!

Keep checking our website and Facebook page: www.camarillodogparks.com and www.facebook.com/friendsofcamarillodogparks or even better, come out to the park and see the changes happen! As a side note, we are ALWAYS looking for those of YOU who may be interested in joining our fun and energetic group, which wants to further our goal to enhance dog parks in Camarillo! Please let us know if that is you...for even one hour per week. Everyone can do a little bit which will collectively be a lot!

Come join our pack! Thank you in advance and always
